CV Data (Stored Locally)

When you build a CV using CVDoer, all your personal information — name, contact details, work experience, education, skills — is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use an AI-powered feature.

AI Feature Usage

When you use AI features (AI CV Writer, CV Upload Scanner), your input text or uploaded file is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. We do not store this data on any CVDoer server. Anthropic's data processing is governed by their privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.

Usage Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated analytics (pages visited, feature usage) through privacy-respecting analytics tools. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the CV building service
• To process AI requests on your behalf (name/data sent to Anthropic API)
• To improve the platform through anonymous analytics
• To respond to support inquiries

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your CV data is stored in your browser's localStorage and is only accessible by you on your device. We do not have access to this data. If you clear your browser data, your saved CV will be deleted.

For AI feature requests, data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted) to Anthropic's API. We do not log or store these requests on our servers.

4. Cookies

CVDoer uses minimal cookies: browser localStorage for saving your CV, and potentially a session cookie for analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Children's Privacy

CVDoer is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Your Rights

Since we don't store your data on servers, you have full control over your data:

• Access: Your data is in your browser's localStorage
• Delete: Clear your browser localStorage to delete all CV data
• Portability: Download your CV as PDF or Word at any time
